The activities to be carried out
Because a stay in Champagne requires some preparations, our hotel le Moulin du Landion gives you some ideas to organize your holidays.
Our team will be happy to listen to your enquiries and look forward to guiding you to the best leisure activities available in the region.
Below is a summary of the activities you can do.
A wide choice
To perfect your swing during the holidays with 18-hole courses, you will enjoy being in the forest while drawing your clubs with the golf of the Orient Forest in Rouilly-Sacey, the golf of the Hermitage in Vendeuvre-sur-Barse and the golf of Troyes la Cordelière in Chaource.
Whether you are an enthusiast or you want to learn the techniques of this precision sport in the open air, the Champagne region invites you to enjoy your holiday!
Cycling & hiking
Slow tourism attitude
For a quiet, relaxing and pleasant holiday, you have to take your time! Here in the Aube, there are bicycle routes along the Seine, particularly in Nogent-sur-Seine. Bicycle rentals for children and adults are available, with or without electric assistance, with the whole family or as a couple; there is something for everyone.
For hiking, there are paths that allow you to discover a region with a rich natural and historical heritage.
A legacy of passion
Many wine estates throughout the region open their doors to share with you this unique terroir.
Wine tourism routes are suggested to discover the different wines with the champagne route in Aube. You can add activities to the tasting such as canoeing to discover the biodiversity in the surroundings and have a lunch break with a winegrower's picnic.
It is not necessary to wait for the sales when you go shopping in Troyes. Why is that? Let's mention 3 factory outlets: Marque Avenue, Marque City and McArthurGlen.
With the biggest brands present in these stores and promotions all year round, it is useless to say that coming to Troyes without doing some window shopping is not very compatible!
Museums & cultural visits
Around the Moulin du Landion
In Troyes, capital of the Champagne region, there are many thematic guided tours, such as discovering the city's industrial heritage with the Musée de la Bonneterie (hosiery museum), visiting workers' quarters with accounts of their daily lives in the 19th century, as well as visits to mansions.
It is possible to go back much further in history with the discovery of the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul where the Council of Troyes took place which made the Templar Order official in 1129. The exterior of the former Commandery of the Temple can be visited.
